Project Summary

There is a small, but strong community of film lovers in Athens, Georgia and in a town that can withstand College Gameday, it’s the perfect place for a film festival. The Athens Film Festival is a fictional event aimed at cinephiles and casual film enjoyers alike. This branding campaign includes poster, website, and app for the festival which includes screens, Q&A, workshops, and panels.

Key Features

Two promotional posters were created for the event. One original poster and one inspired by the design work of Saul Bass. 

Website Key Features

The website includes an about section, schedule, tickets, merch store, and page to submit to the writing and young filmmakers competition. Each film screening has page where users can read about the film, watch the trailer, view showtimes, and read recent articles about the film or filmmakers.

App Key Features

The primary function of the app is to help festival goers reserve seats, keep track of tickets, and check the schedule. Condensed information such as highlighted articles researching movies can also be found in the app.
