Project Summary
Global to Local is a biannual, interactive campaign to encourage University of Georgia students to get out of the downtown bubble and support local, ethnic restaurants. The campaign takes place over five weeks with a restaurant being highlighted each week on the Instagram page. Participants are encouraged to dine at these restaurants to support local businesses owned by people of color. They are also able to pick up a collectable book and sticker to go along with each restaurant.

Social Media Posts
Social media posts created primarily for Instagram. Posts highlight the restaurant of the week, menu items, and location. Stories included facts about the featured restaurant and its country of origin.




Pattern Design
Patterns were used as a decorative element for the background of our posts. I composed the patterns using illustrations of various menu items from each restaurant drawn by Anela Leide.
Interactive Booklet
The print team created an interactive booklet that would be released along with the campaign. Users would be able to pick up the book at any location and collect custom stickers at every restaurant featured.
